M/S PUNE ENERGY CONTROL DEVICES PVT. LTD., (PECD) is a private limited company promoted by a group of technocrats having long experience in working with reputed companies. Mr.P.M.Deshpande who has over 20 years experience in the field of Industrial products is the main promoter and head of the company. PECD started its business in 1994 with the business of supply and installation of Diesel generating sets powered with Kirloskar and Cummins engines.

The need for development of its own product led to the development of MICROCARE ELECTROSTATIC OIL CLEANER. Pune Energy Control Devices started development of Electrostatic Oil Cleaner in 1996 and launched its product after extensive trials in January,1997 with its first client being M/s Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., Mumbai.

MICROCARE Electrostatic Oil Cleaner is the first machine of its kind which is fully designed and developed in India and manufactured using indigenous components only. The Microcare EOC is used for fine cleaning of Hydraulic Oil and is capable of removing contaminants of 0.8 micron size. M/s PECD put up an independent unit for manufacture and testing of these machines. All the machines going out of the factory are inspected and tested before despatch.

PECD's effort to provide full fledged Hydraulic System Care has led to the development of MICROCARE Vacuum Dehydration Unit. This is used for removal of moisture and entrapped gases and air from oil. The VDU stops the generation of sludge and sticky matter in hydrocarbon fluids thereby eliminating the risk of the machine's breakdown and increased oil life. In a short span the MICROCARE brand has established itself in the market and is also exported out of the country.
